At a time when prices are skyrocketing, paying out a small fortune on your car is a concern for every motorist. According to the AA, two-thirds of car owners were forced to reduce their driving this summer, after June saw the cost of fuel rose by a staggering 42.3%.

Perhaps more concerning, a recent article in the Guardian reported the boss of Halfords highlighting a “risk to road safety, as drivers buy older vehicles and struggle with maintenance costs”.

To help reduce the strain on everyday drivers, Halfords recently launched a Motoring Club providing access to savings across their extensive range of everyday products. Shoppers, whether instore or online, see two different prices for nearly every item - a standard price alongside a far cheaper price if they sign-up to the Halfords Motoring Club.

Over half a million people have signed-up since March, taking advantage of £30 worth of immediate benefits, as well as £10 off an MOT. A good proportion have additionally opted for a premium membership tier costing £4.99 a month, unlocking over £100 worth of benefits, including a free MOT.

Amongst the many savings, Halfords are now offering a warranty backed by MotorEasy, with new and existing club members able to unlock up to 6-months additional cover.
